Gooseberry turnoff (WYO 431) is 30 miles of stark contrast between farm and ranch land and the Gooseberry Formations and Painted Desert.

bulletVisitors are offered the opportunity to visit the Gooseberry Creek Scenic Turnout located one half hour west of Worland.  Nature provides a closeup look at the results of erosional forces which have sculpted the Wyoming landscape.  It was near here that remains of the Eohippus, the prehistoric horse, were found.
